As CEO, Harris is responsible for innovative strategies that have expanded the company into new markets of home renovation. His hands-on approach has helped to create a fast growing company. He realized that homeowners were looking for a solid and dependable company for home improvements like gutters, window and siding, but not finding a dependable and quality source. Harris joined Dixie HomeCrafters as a salesman in 1995. He was promoted to Sales Manager, then to Senior Vice President. In 2004, Harris climbed his way to the top to become CEO and partner in the company.
Prior to joining Dixie HomeCrafters, Harris worked in the home-improvement industry and founded a remodeling company that exceeded revenue of $10 million in its first year.
Harris was born in Ringgold, GA, a suburb of Chattanooga, Tenn. and attended Ringgold High School. Although Harris spends most of his time in Atlanta, he resides in Ringgold with his wife and daughter.
Harris has hired, trained and motivated thousands of salespeople in more than 20 years as a sales professional. He is also a nationally recognized speaker on the subject of sales-force training.
